Playing with magnets
I can think of many words to describe this priceless expression. Whatever you choose to call it, my hope is that all children can experience this feeling in school.

He was completely blown away that things stuck to the magnet! He had never seen magnets like this before (other than our letters, pictures, etc. – things nothing as exciting as all of these together!) He kept yelling “IT STICKED! IT STICKED!” It was awesome. We played with these magnets all week before I went into any read alouds or lessons on magnets. It was so cool to see what the kids would do with them and what their first impressions were.
